2010 Tournaments

Masters Tournament

The Masters Tournament will be held on Sunday, April 11, 2010. We love this tournament because it reminds us of our dear friend Skee. In 1948 Skee Reigel won low Amateur (13th place), and in 1951, as a pro, he finished second to Ben Hogan. Bring your best putter and draw your pro partner from a hat. Afterwards it's great fun to root for your partner on TV in the Skee Reigel Room. Reserve your tee-time for the Masters Sunday. Combine your net (using 80% of you handicap) round with your partner pro. Entrance fee is $25 plus cart fee, and includes refreshments and prizes.

Mens and Womens President Cup Qualifier

The Presidents Cup Qualifier is Saturday, May 1, 2010. This is one of the most exciting tournaments of the year, Cape May National's Match Play Championship. This tournament runs for weeks, pitting you against fellow members. Survivors are the best golfers playing under pressure while enjoying the camaraderie of friends, new and old. Join us for this exciting event!

Cape May Classic Member-Guest

Now is the time to show off your home course to your friends and family. For less than normal greens fees, you can entertain your guest to a great day of golf, followed with fun prizes and a festive party. Last year we had a wonderful time at the Chalfonte Hotel and this year, with the new renovations, will be even better. You and up to three guests compete in a better ball of partners tournament, using 80% of your handicap. Members $35, Guests $45. Entrance fees includes golf, cart, refreshments, gift and prizes. Sunday, June 13, 2010.

Member-Member Championship

Sunday, May 23, 2010. Team up with your best golfing buddies and take on this challenge. This is an exciting format of alternate shot, best ball and scramble. Side bets with fellow competitors are a must as you eyeball the contenders. Will you be the one that leaves your partner with the impossible shot? Or will you save the day? Afterward, enjoy refreshments and prizes. Format: 50% of handicap. Entrance fee $30, carts not included.

Club Championship

A two day event, this years capstone tournament will be held Saturday and Sunday, August 28-29, 2010. Scores from both days are combined. Players will compete against other members in your flight, which are determined by handicap. Refreshments and awards Sunday after any sudden death tie breaker to be played for the championship flight.

Ladies Golf Association

Every Tuesday starting in May , our ladies hold open tournaments with first tee time at 9am. All women members welcome regardless of their handicaps. Come out and join the fun!

Men's League

Every Wednesday starting mid May. All members welcome. Come out at 5pm for the 9 hole shot gun. Afterwards enjoy refreshments and divying up the cash pool.
